Data collection & analyis

The service team needed evidence from research to determine key focuses of workshop development and attributes that led participants to recommend service to friends, family and colleagues. Some information is removed or modified due to confidentiality. The organization wanted to understand whether users of their workshops were receiving quality experiences. This study aimed to understand user experience with the organization's workshops. The implemented a quantitative approach where 150 alumni of the program participated in an online survey.

To achieve the goals, I adopted quantitative methodologies to collect data from target participants. I created a survey utilizing the survey design platform, Qualtrics.  The survey was distributed to over 150 alumni of the online workshop. A multitude of indices were created based on the measurement of the same variable on SPSS. Running a linear aggression, I was able to predict a relationship between two variables. This method was utilized as the organization wanted to understand if there were any themes amongst their alumni network. A survey created and piloted on Qualtrics. After a few iterations, the researcher submitted the survey for approval. After the survey was conducted, the data was cleaned and analyzed via SPSS. 

When deciding whether an alumni would recommend the workshop to a friend, family or colleague, the data showed that satisfaction was a crucial determinant. It was also found that facilitators were significant predictors of program satisfaction.

There was a correlational relationship found between user satisfaction of the online workshop and the facilitators who ran the workshops. Facilitators were a key predictor of alumni overall satisfaction within the program.
